its nearing the end of 2wks here, which means my honeymoon period is over. sch's starting on monday and doode, ive got 33.5hrs of contact time a week! and mon my sch's from 8am-7pm! dun aussies close shop at 5pm zhun? aii ok id leave tt til another time of ranting. meanwhile, let me update on my now-furnished room! very happy with it heh!
if u refer to 2 entries below, this is my 'wardrobe' but open air style. u can see its too big for my doorway! haha so, i cant close my door. but tts fine! :) tong fong then i guess! haha, i secretly stashed 2pairs of shoes and 1sandals underneath cos i tot i brought too many shoes and display in the hall wld be so lao kui. BUT shannon also has equally many shoes, and same pattern as me. white shoes zui zui. haha!
so this is my new room! i love! LOVE my purple bedsheets. i tot i love my quilt cover? i love my bedsheet even more! heh. the table is DIY. the shelving drawers are also DIY. i mixed and matched them by myself. so, this design? ONE IN THE WORLD by sk kwok.
and now with my oh-u're-so-awesome-and comfortable white chair. (okok,i know, why white!?well.. but its soo nice!!! heh..)
this is my laundery basket! haha i think its for kids to put their toys instead, but owell! i love it haha!
i saw this and found it so adorable? i decided to hang it here so when shan walks past my room, it doesn look so bad? plus! i get a mirror! however, the mirror is so lao pok i look at it i get groggy. eh, cute right? haha
2 sides to a coin. so this is the left side of my room which i try to not take pics with haha. but yeah these are the built-in shelves by the owner. so many, so tall, so tim teh.
i thought i brought only 1? so i placed another one in my handcarry when i came. then i realised, i did put 2 into my luggage. *changes subject* shan locks his car 3times as well!!

so, today marks the first week since i've arrived in nedlands, perth.
so this is the view which my balcony outlooks. pic1) view of swan river in the right with a huge field. pic2)view of swan river on the left, with a running path along the sea with lots of yatchts! the weather is lovely! warm but not humid! very awesome!
so here's my room, albeit small. it makes it very hard to put a table, bed and cupboard inside. however, i really love the location of this house, its very bright and breezy! everything else, but my room. HMMM!
so this is my first attempt in building my cosy little nest in the study room! these are my newly arrived matteress, bedframe, matteress pad! and erm.. shannon's gym ball. :p btw, this is the hall!
tada! my first move to my colony in this room! soon, in front of the window im gg to put a 190cm long table, get a nice roller chair(alrdy set my eyes on one in ikea! white one!) hang up 3 photoframes on the wall next to window vertically down. above my bed will also be a stretch of photos. the light is gg to go. i'll change the cover to the ikea kids kind, or the zen kind. heh! will cover the bed top (there that small window?) block the sunlight, and it will be my place to put specs, alarm clock small photos heh! erm, cupboard, next time then think
and so, living alone means i have to cook.
my first attempt at cooking a proper meal. frozen bean/corn w chicken meat and sausage spaghetti! heh! top one is w sauce,bottom without sauce yet. it was not too bad!down here, i didn like their bottled sauces, not nice! will try harder next time to whip up sth more delicious! fong zao!! :)
so ok thats roughly my lil update of life in aussie. now its my BIG news hehe!

yeah, so this is my new ride here. 2005 RAV4 CV, aka the base model. 2.4l engine 4 in-line cylinder. mileage is a quite average here. abt 9800km. im pretty happy with it! hehe charcoal grey colour! :) im really happy! its like, HWAH DREAM COME TRUE SK KWOK!! although its not first hand, and the engine is not brand new, i hope i will still grow attached to this baby? hmmm :) im loving u rava. yay yay yay! thursday here i come!!!
im gg to change the rims, my left headlight, tidy up interior, wax the car, change the wipers and soon the tyres? yeah get it in for a thorough check heh! aii so exciting!
and ok here's the bummer, while u all are enjoying ur hols tmr, ive got first aid course, and id miss laser quest with the bunch of zion pple. owells!

shit! this dry woody smell again!?
the moment those sliding doors open at the airport, i was greeted by this oh-my-its-so-nice!(omisn!) temprature and humidity. and when i took a deep breath of this dry air, my eyes popped open.
AM I IN WALLABY?!? WHY THEY ALL SMELL LIDDAT ONE!
haha guess its just the woods smell.
it's been 2days since im here, and i think its a really nice place to settle in and study. the environment is awesome and the streets here makes living comfortable. there's a stretch of food places and groceries along broadway, and shawn has recommended me to try broadway pizzas. haha, wait til i try then i blog again.
maybe i should start a ieat-ishoot-ipost-inperth.blogspot.com or sth.
so, these 2 days, my dad and i walked all e way to the caltex bus stop(15mins?) took public transport called e transperth, from wellington to stirling to go ikea. and we walked... walked...walked.... forever. on e way back, we walked...walked...walked... with pillow bolster blanket and some stuff in our hands. we were so poor thing... translate into singapore context, its like u watch xing qi er te xie(tuesday special reports) like huang lao bo and his grandson go pick cardboards under the hdb.. ok im exaggerating! ha!
that was ytd. today, by god's grace we bummed into pastor allen su, who took us go house hunting in his van! and we only met like 5mins! moreover, it was his wife who first said hi to us! then after tt ps allen took us arnd to wherever we wanted to go from10am to 3pm.. so heh! i got my printer at the same time. so thankful for his help u know, really sped things up so much. really divine, cant thank god enough for this.

i went to see my rava. hehehehe. RAV4. hwah, disappointing lah. its so expensive. i can get a standard corolla at 26kaud, for a rava, i pay 36k for a vehicle to just move the suv,no 6disc changer, no leather trimmings,no frills.. like.. just the metal, the velvet seats, a 4speed auto, metal body yeah thats all. i was like, how sad! for all the rational reasons i thought was convincing enough to finally own a rava, it turns out that its not economical for one person at all!
so now, im so sad so sad so sad.
and getting a 2nd hand of my dream rava is kinda out of the qn cos... its almost 15yrs old alrdy! and the mileage is like, 100k or sth.so maintenance and servicing ltr on might be a problem.plus, its prob like change dunno how many owners. ah my baby rava gen1.....ok, gen1 is i ownself say one.. but..
so sad so sad...
so yes, being a lil more focused on my studies- tmr is day1 of orientation!830 at winthrop hall! wherever that is... but no worries i'll find the place! im more concerned abt my time table scheduling on fri..so tmr night id need to scramble and try to understand the system.. thurs id be having a 1st aid course. heheh! so exciting! like,on thurs evening, id be certified to save somebody!
