i have been running very low on sleep for the last weeks, but somehow i do get ample rest and sufficient energy to go about for my days. last night was the first time i knew i HAD to sleep, albeit it was near midnight, but i decided to do quiet time and He said,

in camp today, rallen told me about this song by lifehouse - sick cycle carousel. the lyrics seems interesting but ive yet to really find out abt the song. but one line rings so true,(no im not being some emo kid here) if shame had a face it would kind of look like mine. if we were ever to see god face to face, i think id be too ashamed of my sins and wrongdoings on this earth to even step near the glory of Him. but in all mercy, thank God for dying on the cross and the grace so freely given to us.

on another very different note: 5years ago when i was in sec3, coming to army seemed like forever later.2yrs ago in sjsm's heartbeat youthcamp prep, walking into that live firing ground w chris khen wai noelle and huiyi was quite fun(and guilty!) one yr ago when i was running my napha test, it seemed that As was still quite some time away. 6 mths ago i was bald. never would i expect the time to even come for me.never did i expect to become a technician. never would i expect that of all places id land up in gedong. oh dear! the god forsaken territories. thank god for cars. anyway, my base's mates/colleagues are a hilarious bunch. oh goodness, u dunno what on earth we do. when we are in civillian u prob think we're a bunch of secondar y sch kids. when we're in uniform, i think u think otherwise for the safety of singaporeans.. haha! but no, we're still qualified technicians, ok! hmmm

celebrated slong's(sianglong) birthday just monday at pizza hut and it was a good time of laughin and eating, and laughin, and laughin. sianglong has just created a new game to play while we fall in. haha, i can see my 2yrs in service is going to be damn fun, even if it means going outfield like siao. HAHA. its the company that gets everyone going. ( no not coy kind of company)

we were at sunset grille at old seletar camp/airport and the food served was just plain awesome, tho josco and i almost couldnt make it for the level 1 chicken wings *brain hang now, cant remember whats it called* but the steaks served was nice ;) very very very nice alfresco ambience too. i like.

yes those are the few words/lines i can remember of the song ' i will worship you for who you are'. ah so far life's been good, god's been reeaallly taking care of me. god's been faithful to the end/so far with me, despite me going into a state of bad patch. i thank god i never felt any form of condemnation from him and i never fail to sense the loving arms of the father.isn't it wonderful how god really covered me? not letting satan intrude into my life at this time at all. thank god for the pple that came along to pull/drag/pick me up along the way.

precious and painful lesson learnt? placing my trust in an unchanging god in times of uncertainties.
