oh my god...
i just watched a portion of Spell Cast(the chan5 spelling bee competition for lil kiddos) and lo and behold, I CANNOT SPELL FOR NUTS!
1.what on earth is 'fjord'?(read as 'fyord')
2.what is 'bourgeois'(read as bourgeour..ok i cant even rmb if i spell it correctly haha)
3.this is the ultimate for me. in my 18 years of living, i never knew 'antennae', u know, the one that your tv receives reception from.. was pronounced as 'anthony'.. i thought, the most english it can sound is 'an-tain-ner', otherwise commonly known to our local auntie and uncles as 'an-teh-narh'.
in my bid to sound like i can't speak proper english, i'll exclaim my shock by saying..
zo-oh mi gawd(a.k.a zomg. lolx)
